Taste of my childhood
Author: Bernard SAILLOL
Bernard Saillol, offers us a sweet walk in the jubilant and fantasized memories of his Belvésoise childhood, a mixture of flavors and personal memories of a family cuisine very modest surely, but, oh so tasty! So much so that even today, our souls are all excited.
The succulent garlic tourin, the admirable mimosa eggs and tomatoes from the hors d'oeuvre for the big meal of threshing, the incomparable rind beans or the delicious school snacks; So many memories, pleasure of tastes of a local cuisine magnified by local products and punctuated by the seasons.
This book is the antechamber of simple pleasures, authentic cuisine, a good sum ... and Paradise.
The author was born in 1944 in Belvès, a small village in the sky of Périgord. An architect by profession, his elusive, very personal work, imbued with poetry, emotions and dreams, testifies to a strong avant-garde writing. His achievements are published in many French and foreign journals and especially in Japan.
A great immobile traveler, Bernard Saillol is also author-illustrator of children's books that project us into imaginary and enchanting worlds.
